As part of our Pacifica Stories Unit we learned about Māui. We read " Māui and the Sun", "Māui and the Giant Ika", and the "Māori Creation Myth" in class and in our reading centers.
These stories were cut into different scenes and students practiced story sequencing by putting them in order and summarising a story in their own writing. We made our own demigod hooks too!
